Hi! My name is Angie, and I'm a junior math major at Boston College. I’ve been tutoring online for 8 years, and focus especially on SAT test prep and math at various levels (especially elementary, middle/high school Algebra, and Geometry). As a math student who has experienced the transition from high school math topics into college level ones (including abstract algebra, real/complex analysis, topology, combinatorics etc), and then into mathematical research, I aim to teach with an eye towards more advanced subjects, specializations, and eventual creative reasoning needed for research. I also scored a 1590 on the SAT (790 English, 800 Math) and can help students familiarize with the content and plan strategies to do well on standardized tests. I am currently available for any of these subjects in private or semi-private class formats.
In addition to the middle school and high school subjects listed above, if your student is interested in an introduction to group theory, real analysis, graph theory, or basic topology at a university level, please message a request to discuss.
