Hi, I'm Abiral, but you can just call me Abi (pronounced "ah-bee"). I'm an undergraduate at Colby College, studying computer science and French studies. As a student, the teachers I always appreciate the most are those who are able to break down confusing or complex topics easily without "dumbing them down" or leaving anything out, which help me even more to succeed when I see the bigger picture. This is the approach I want to take with my students, breaking down concepts piece by piece to help students see a bigger picture at the end. Of course, I can modify this method for each subject and each student's needs.
As for my qualifications, I scored a 1570/1600 on the SAT (790 RW, 780 M) and a 35/36 on the ACT. I was awarded the Seal of Biliteracy with Distinction in the French language by the state of Massachusetts in 2025. I graduated from Westford Academy with a GPA of 4.02 and eight AP exams under my belt, for six of which I achieved 5/5 and for two of which I achieved 4/5. These include French Language and Culture (5/5) and English Literature and Composition (5/5).
I am committed to helping the students I work with as best as possible, so any suggestions from students or parents are always welcome. I will always do my best to respond to you in a timely manner. Feel free to contact me any time!
