I’m an experienced elementary teacher with 36+ years in Concord Public Schools in Concord, Massachusetts, now retired and offering tutoring. I specialize in English Language Arts, particularly in writing, and also enjoy teaching reading and math to students in grades 3-6. I help students build confidence through engaging, personalized lessons.
In addition to teaching in the classroom, I spent one full year as a remote fifth-grade teacher in the Thoreau School Remote Academy during the COVID hybrid year. With 15 students in my online class, I developed a special bond with them and loved designing engaging lessons for them in all subject areas based on their interests and needs.
I currently tutor four students in grades 4-6 and have considerable experience working as a home hospital tutor in Concord. I also spent over 20 years leading summer curriculum projects in all subject areas.
