I hold a Master’s degree in Data Analytics Engineering from Northeastern University, where I graduated with a 3.91/4 GPA. I also earned my Bachelor of Engineering degree from BITS Pilani, one of India’s premier institutions. Through both degrees, I built a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and problem-solving. Math has been central to my academic and professional journey, from applying statistical learning in research to developing machine learning models in industry. Because of this, I am able to explain mathematical concepts in both theoretical and practical ways, helping students see the relevance of what they are learning.

I have experience mentoring students through my professional role as a Product Data Scientist at Upgrad Education, where I guided learners of different ages and backgrounds to improve their engagement and performance. My approach to teaching is flexible and student-centered. I focus on clarity and patience with middle and high school learners, while emphasizing advanced problem-solving strategies and analytical thinking for older students preparing for exams or higher-level coursework.

I believe every student can succeed in math with the right guidance and support. My teaching style is structured yet encouraging, breaking down complex topics into simple steps and reinforcing them with practice. I like to connect abstract concepts to real-world applications, which helps learners understand not just the “how” but also the “why” behind what they are studying. Above all, my goal is to help students build confidence in their own problem-solving abilities, so they can approach math with less fear and more curiosity.
