Additionally, I have plenty of experience working with younger children through various volunteering that I have done.
As a student myself, I understand how valuable tutors can be. I strive to prepare my students thoroughly so that they can meet their goals. I adapt lessons and sessions to each student's needs as I understand that everyone learns differently. As someone who has also been tutored in the past, I have a better grasp of more effective and less overwhelming methods of preparation and studying. If a student finds a concept particularly confusing, I break things down and use applications of the content to facilitate a better understanding of it. I always make sure to answer questions and explain concepts with patience and kindness. Moreover, I find practicing applying concepts key to solidifying consistent understanding of content.
