Hi! I’m Nick, and I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and Chemistry with a Pre-Med concentration. I quickly developed a passion for chemical logic and how these principles apply to psychology, medicine, and everyday life. Over the past 4–5 years, I’ve studied organic and biochemistry intensively and have become a tutor at multiple colleges across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. My goal is not only to help students achieve the best possible scores, but also to help them fall in love with chemistry as I have.
I have tutored Organic Chemistry I–III, Biochemistry I–II, Medical Biochemistry, Psychopharmacology, and Neuroscience, both in-person (individual and group) and online. I focus on conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and building confidence, so students can excel in exams and retain knowledge long-term. I work with undergraduate, masters, and pre-med students, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style and goals.
What makes me unique is that I approach chemistry like a detective story, connecting reactions, mechanisms, and molecular behavior to real-world applications in medicine, psychiatry, and everyday life. I aim to make even the most challenging topics intuitive and enjoyable, using visual aids, step-by-step walkthroughs, and analogies that stick. I’m flexible with scheduling and session format, and whether you need help with a tricky reaction mechanism or preparing for a major exam, I can customize sessions to meet your exact needs.
