I am currently an Associate Professor of Mathematics at QCC where I teach a wide variety of levels of mathematics, ranging from beginning courses in algebra to statistics to calculus (6th grade math and up) and have tutored these subjects for more than ten years, in addition to high school geometry, physics, and more!

My general philosophy is to not only help students gain the knowledge they need to succeed on a current assignment, subject, or test, but to help them develop the critical thinking, problem solving, and study skills they can apply to future problems and classes, making them overall better math students and learners. It is one thing for me to teach you how to use a hammer when you know you've got a nail, but it's another to have access to a whole toolbox and determine which tool works best for each piece of a job. I aim for the latter.
