I have extensively worked with K-3 students with some exposure to 4th to 6th grades. I began my education journey as a special needs classroom teacher. Then, for over twenty years, I worked as a reading specialist, literacy coach, and instructional coach. Currently, I am working as an online reading tutor. I have had extensive training on various components of reading pedagogy and instruction. I have been working as an online tutor since September 2023. I believe that all students can learn when they get the right instruction. When their difficulties are identified and there is a specific plan to support them in overcoming the obstacles, they thrive. This is my experience throughout my career.
