I hold teaching credentials in English Language Development, French, and English Language Arts. I am currently a candidate for the ED.M. At Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been in education for over 15 years. My foundation is in early childhood development and elementary education where I worked with Kindergarten through grade six. My background also includes time in special needs classrooms and after school programs. Prior to taking time off work to pursue a graduate degree, I was teaching 7th grade ELA. I enjoy working with young people because it excites me to witness their journey and and growth in the time I spend with them.
I use my knowledge of linguistics, languages, grammar, and culture to inform instruction in a more holistic approach. Lessons are developed in a way to help students connect and engage with the language and content in authentic and relevant ways. I believe in having fun and building connections with my students so they know I care about their success.
I look forward to hearing from you and building a plan to support you in your academic goals.
