I've taught in classrooms and one-on-one. I was a certified pre-school and kindergarten teacher for five years and worked with elementary-aged students up to 13 years old after school. I've coached volleyball to middle schoolers, high schoolers, and college players, in public school settings and in private club settings. I've tutored a variety of subjects in middle school, high school, and college. I truly love it all.
My approach is to meet you where you're at and tutor you in the styles that work for you. I am flexible and adaptable and will work with you to find the best ways that I can help you. We can talk about the ways you learn best and practice different study skills to best suit you. Some people learn best my listening, some learn best by writing, some learn best by doing, practicing, speaking, etc. so we can figure out together what works for you and use those methods. We can work on whatever you need help with: homework, projects, studying for tests, etc. I'm here for you!
Even though my degrees are in English, Creative Writing, Business Administration, Project Management, and Project, Program, and Portfolio Management, I love all subjects, from Math to Science to Social Studies to Spanish, and at all levels, from pre-school to grad school.
