Hi there! I recently graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Human Biology, Health, and Society. Having completed a rigorous science and pre-medical courseload with an excellent academic track record, I managed an incredibly demanding schedule by figuring out specific study frameworks, active recall strategies, and memory tricks that allowed me to learn complex material deeply and quickly. I am passionate about sharing these exact efficiency-focused learning methods with my students to best prepare them for the fast-paced nature of their own classes. I offer dedicated tutoring in general biology, anatomy, microbiology, and K-12 mathematics, alongside specialized test preparation for the SSAT and SAT Math sections. My goal is to help students see the bigger picture rather than just memorizing facts, ensuring they build both subject mastery and lifelong academic confidence.

My teaching journey began in high school, where I spent the academic years tutoring elementary school students in weekly, one-on-one sessions, tailoring foundational math and reading concepts to their individual pacing. I expanded on this experience over a summer by teaching a full remote class of middle schoolers, a role that required me to design dynamic, engaging virtual lessons that kept an entire group focused and interactive. Because I have worked across a diverse range of age groups, I know firsthand how overwhelming school can feel, which is why my tutoring approach centers on creating a supportive, patient space. I adapt my style to match each student's unique rhythm, helping them break down dense material step-by-step and teaching them how to optimize their own study habits so they can thrive independently. I look forward to helping you reach your full potential!

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I graduated with top marks from Cornell University, where my STEM-focused degree required a rock-solid mastery of mathematical logic and algebraic principles. I have extensive experience tutoring peers and younger students, helping them conquer tricky topics like quadratic equations, graphing, and linear functions. My approach emphasizes the "why" behind algebraic rules, giving students the tools and confidence they need to ace their exams.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

As a Cornell University graduate with a strong analytical background, I love helping young students build a confident foundation in math. I have several years of experience tutoring students in foundational concepts like fractions, decimals, and word problems. By focusing on patient guidance and clear, step-by-step problem solving, I help elementary students overcome math anxiety and develop genuine academic confidence.
Elementary Science

Elementary Science

I hold a degree in Human Biology, Health, and Society from Cornell University, where I completed advanced scientific coursework with stellar grades. My past tutoring experience focuses on breaking down big scientific ideas into fun, digestible concepts that spark curiosity in young minds. I excel at making the natural world easy to understand, helping elementary students build both strong foundational skills and genuine academic confidence.
Nutrition

Nutrition

Graduating from Cornell’s Human Biology, Health, and Society major means my training in nutrition goes far beyond basic calorie counting. My education explicitly focused on the biopsychosocial model, analyzing how metabolic pathways interact with socioeconomic factors and human behavior. As a tutor, I help students understand nutrition as a dynamic intersection of biochemistry, metabolism, and lifestyle choices. This holistic perspective allows me to break down complex dietary science and public health concepts into clear, deeply intuitive lessons.
Physiology

Physiology

Having excelled in top-tier life science courses at Cornell, I know exactly how overwhelming physiology textbooks can feel with their dense jargon and complex feedback loops. My tutoring approach bridges this gap by translating heavy academic language into clear, relatable visual models and analogies. Whether we are breaking down cellular respiration or respiratory gas exchange, I help you visualize the process so it actually sticks. I don't just teach you the material; I teach you how to think like a physiologist so you can confidently tackle unfamiliar problem sets.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

Having successfully navigated advanced collegiate mathematics and statistics at Cornell, I know exactly what foundational skills students need to transition smoothly into higher-level math. I specialize in breaking down abstract concepts like variables, integers, and basic equations into clear, manageable steps. My past tutoring experience allows me to meet students where they are, ensuring they master the core logic of prealgebra before moving on.
