I am an experienced, patient, and enthusiastic physics and mathematics instructor with over 25 years of teaching and tutoring experience, including 15 years teaching Physics, AP Physics, AP Physics C, Calculus, and Precalculus at two of the nation's top private high schools.

I hold a Ph.D. in Physics from Florida State University and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, an M.S. in Physics from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in Applied Physics from Columbia University.

Throughout my career I have taught students at every level—from middle school through graduate school. At Florida State University I served as a teaching assistant every semester, teaching engineering physics and quantum mechanics. At Johns Hopkins University I taught the undergraduate physics laboratory for two years, and while attending Columbia University I worked as an undergraduate physics tutor.

Before earning my Ph.D., I spent five years teaching at The York School in Monterey, California, where I taught Physics, AP Physics, AP Calculus, Precalculus, science, and computer programming. I also have industry experience as an RF Electrical Engineer in Silicon Valley, giving me practical experience applying mathematics and physics to real-world engineering problems.

Over the years I have helped hundreds of students earn top grades, improve their confidence, and prepare for AP exams, SAT/ACT math, college courses, and engineering programs. I earned a perfect score on the GRE Mathematics section and scored in the 93rd percentile on the Physics GRE Subject Test.
