Hello, everyone. My name is Francis Kahura, and I am a registered World History Tutor with Wyzant. (When we are in class, call me Mr. Kahura.) When I'm not tutoring, I am a transfer student at Westfield State University in Westfield, Massachusetts. I have a passion for travel, although my journeys have mostly taken me to Kenya, where I was born. Within the United States, I've explored nearly every state.
As a junior at Westfield State University, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in History along with a Teacher's Certificate to prepare for teaching in my state. I completed my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts at Community College just last winter, which guided me in choosing my major when I transferred to Westfield State earlier this year. My goal upon graduating in 2030 is to begin a career teaching World History to high school students in my state. Although I currently lack teaching experience, tutoring World History will provide me with the valuable insights and skills I need for my future career. It's a pleasure to connect with all of you. Their adversarial relationship dates back to the Iberian Peninsula's history, particularly during the period of exploration and colonization when both nations competed for dominance in global trade routes. The rivalry was further fueled by territorial disputes and differing alliances throughout various European conflicts. However, over time, their shared cultural ties and mutual interests in economic stability and growth facilitated a cooperative relationship within the framework of the European Union. The European Union's history of cooperation among adversaries, such as Spain and Portugal, showcases the transformative power of mutual interests and shared goals in fostering unity and stability.
