I'm an incoming freshman at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, planning to obtain my B.S. in Psychological Sciences and my M.S. in Neuroscience. I graduated from Bancroft School, where I served as a Chemistry and Algebra tutor to underclassmen.
In regards to STEM, I've obtained scores of 5 and 4 on the AP Chemistry and Biology exams, and a 5 on the Calculus BC exam. In 2024, I received the Alice S. Carr Mathematics award from my school; which honors the junior who achieved excellence within mathematics. Recently, I received third place prizes at the regional and state level science fairs with the project: "Creating Desiccation-Tolerant Koshihikari Rice Plants."
In 2024, I obtained scores of 5 on the AP English Language & Composition exam, the Spanish Language & Culture exam. More recently, I was presented with the Language & Culture Award; given to the student in the senior class who exhibits excellence within the field of language-learning.
When it comes to public speaking, I have gained recognition at a state, regional, and national-level in the event of Original Oratory; which entails writing and memorizing a 10-minute persuasive speech. During the 2023-2024 season, I placed 4th at the Massachusetts State Speech & Debate Tournament, and 3rd at the Villiger Speech Tournament in Oratory. During the 2024-2025, I was 2nd in the state, 6th at Villiger, and an Octofinalist (top 48/207) at the National Catholic Forensics League Tournament.
In 2025, I began working as a math instructor at Mathnasium of Southborough primarily for children in grades K-8. This form of tutoring is 1 on 1 instruction, and is an experience that I find very rewarding.
