The experiences of working with someone interested in developing their language abilities is both fulling and enjoyable. I've been an ESL Instructor for a little over ten years. I have worked with children, teenagers, and college age young adults. It has been such a learning experience for myself as well as my students. I started teaching in Mexican where I taught first at an English language academy, then high school, and later at a university. Since returning to the US 8 years ago, I've exclusively taught at language schools.
The advantage of a language school is that students are not from one country or culture. Students come to you from all over the world. It has been fascinating to meet and interact with such a variety of student learners. When a student arrives at school with really low level English and leave at an Advanced level, you feel so fulfilled and so joyful for the student. This has been my experience so far. I look forward to what comes next.
I love grammar; the meaning and use, then the implementation. Reading is just a joy because I enjoy vocabulary and the sources from which them come.
Fell free to contact me and ask questions. I believe I am an open and honest teacher and will work to make you improve.
