I have a passion for building a students confidence in their own math abilities and believe all students are capable of understanding important math concepts. I have the ability to break down math concepts, beginning with the concrete and moving towards the abstract. I am able to design lessons with a focus on computation or with conceptual understanding as the objective.
In my lessons I will give feedback and positive reinforcement, while pushing my student further in their math journey. I believe that students need confidence and strategies to attack difficult problems, and I know that I can provide them the appropriate supports.
I am excited to work with your student this summer. I will prepare engaging lessons and bring energy and patience to our sessions. I look forward to hearing from you!
