Welcome to my page!
Hope you stay awhile and that we have the opportunity to learn together.
My first teaching role was as a freshman peer tutor at Roger Williams University. I majored in political science and minored in economics, but I primarily tutored writing. Over my four years tutoring at the RWU Center for Student Academic Success, I stoked a love of tutoring students on a diverse array of disciplines from rhetorical writing to pre-law, to econometrics, to international relations. My favorite students to work with were my English-as-a-second language peers because I found that they applied themselves to the nth degree and took great joy in not only understanding the concepts better, but conveying their thoughts in English more effectively.
After college, I became a leader in the public health space, working at various healthcare related nonprofit and government organizations until finding a new academic love--organizational psychology. I gained my master's in organizational psychology from William James College and graduated summa cum laude. I now work full-time as a senior leadership development consultant for Mass General Brigham in Boston. Much of my day-to-day job includes teaching leadership concepts at the group level and coaching healthcare professionals 1:1 on the concepts of organizational psychology.
I have extensive experience teaching in group and 1:1 settings and am comfortable tutoring in both in-person and online forums.
