Hello! I am a private tutor specializing in college applications, essay writing, biology and neuroscience. I have over 7 years of tutoring, teaching, and mentoring experience across a wide range of age levels. My goal is to make learning engaging and practical by using real-world examples and focused practice to build lasting understanding. My teaching style is to break down difficult aspects of science into simpler core concepts that build understanding from a system level, not just rote memorization.

I now study at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where I continue to mentor students and support peers with academic and professional writing. Before Ross, I graduated from Harvard University with a concentration in Neuroscience and a Mind, Brain, and Behavior Certificate, along with a secondary in Slavic Languages and Literatures.

At Harvard, I was a mentor at an after-school program through the Phillips Brooks House Association and spent two years as an instructor and organizer for College Students for Excellence in Secondary Schools. I also served as an instructor for Harvard’s inaugural Splash program and designed curricula for the Harvard Student Agencies Academies program.

Throughout my tutoring and mentoring career, I’ve focused on helping students, especially those with unconventional paths, discover their strengths, articulate their stories, and put their best foot forward in college and graduate school applications. I also offer guidance in neuroscience, biology, and related sciences for students looking to deepen their understanding or prepare for exams.
