I am a Massachusetts licensed educator with certifications in English (grades 5–8 and 8–12), Elementary Education, and Health. I currently teach full-time at the high school level in a traditional classroom setting, where I work with students on reading comprehension, writing development, and academic skills across a range of abilities. My experience includes both whole-class instruction and individualized support, where I regularly work one-on-one with students to strengthen writing skills, improve organization, and develop clearer analytical thinking.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Lesley University in Elementary Education and English Literature, along with three Master’s degrees from Western Governors University, including an MBA, a Master of Science in Management and Leadership, and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management. My academic and professional background allows me to support students not only in traditional English coursework, but also in structured writing, critical thinking, and communication skills that carry across academic and professional contexts.
In addition to classroom teaching, I coach varsity athletics, which has strengthened my ability to help students build focus, accountability, and performance habits through consistent feedback and goal-oriented instruction. I specialize in English, writing, SAT Reading and Writing, and college application essays, and I focus on helping students develop clear, repeatable strategies for reading and writing rather than short-term fixes. My goal is to make students more independent, confident, and efficient in their academic work.
