Hello, my name is Lindsey! I am a voice teacher and performer with training in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary styles. I graduated summa cum laude from Providence College’s Honors Program with dual degrees in Music (Voice Performance) and Biology, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy at the Osher School of Music at the University of Southern Maine.
My performance experience spans opera, classical art song, musical theatre, choir, solo recitals, concert performances, jazz, classic rock, and pop. Through both performing and teaching, I have developed a strong understanding of healthy vocal technique, musicianship, and performance preparation. My background in biology also provides me with a unique perspective on vocal function and vocal health.
I work with students of varying ages, experience levels, and musical interests. Whether you are preparing for an audition, developing foundational vocal skills, improving sight-reading and musicianship, or building confidence as a performer, lessons are tailored to your individual goals. I also provide audition preparation, song selection guidance, performance coaching, and assistance with audition recordings and presentations. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can grow both technically and artistically.
My teaching philosophy centers on developing healthy, sustainable technique while helping each student discover their own unique voice. I believe learning should be both challenging and enjoyable, and I am committed to helping students build confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love of music.
