I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Psychology and Social Policy with an interdisciplinary minor in Economics, Political Science, and Sociology, while completing a pre-medical track. I was on the Dean’s List every semester and graduated with General and Departmental Honors as well as induction into the Psi Chi International Honor Society. I later completed an MPhil in Population Health Sciences at the University of Cambridge on a merit scholarship, where my dissertation received a High Pass distinction. I am now a medical student at the University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine.
My tutoring and mentoring experience spans several years and diverse settings. At Johns Hopkins, I co-founded the Pre-Health Peer Mentor Program, through which I supported over 100 students with course selection, research planning, and extracurricular development to strengthen their medical school applications. As a Psychology Peer Mentor, I guided undergraduates in making key academic and career decisions, advised on research and internship opportunities, and helped them navigate challenges and ambitions with confidence.
In medical school, I serve as president of the Mentoring Aspiring Health Physicians organization, where I lead a medical school application prep program that helps prospective applicants refine their personal statements, secondary essays, and school lists. I also host workshops on interview preparation, including MMI and traditional formats. Across all my teaching and mentoring experiences, I emphasize empathy, organization, and individualized feedback. I aim to help students communicate their unique stories clearly and effectively while building confidence in their academic and professional abilities.
