Steven S. is an actor, singer, teacher, and recording artist who grew up in a little town outside of Boston. Through a combination of hard work, dedication, and support from those around him, he has been able to cherish and nurture his love for theatre and voice for the past thirteen years, and has grown to discover many new artistic outlets beyond the stage. As a teacher, Steven seeks to create an environment that nourishes individuality while ensuring that all clients feel cared for, welcomed, and safe.

Steven approaches every student he works with with an open mind and a desire to help them find their own individual creative voice. Through doing this, he helps students finds a fresh approach to their craft that ensures that their well never runs dry.

Steven graduated magna cum laude from the honors program at Providence College with a B.A. in Theater Arts, concentrating in Musical Theater, and completed his M.F.A. in Musical Theater at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of theatre at Providence College.

Steven began teaching private voice lessons nearly three years ago, and it has since become a passion of his. He has worked with clients aged 7-21, all of whom have varying goals. Some enjoy singing as a hobby, and others intend to make singing their career.

Steven loves theatre more than almost anything in the world, and that love only multiplies when he gets to share it with others. He began teaching performance at Brave Arts Musical Theatre Workshop in 2017, and has since gone on to teach private acting lessons and teach Intro to Acting and Intro to Theatre, Dance, and Film at Providence College, where his formal theatre education first began.

Some all-time favorite theatre credits include Shakespeare in Something Rotten!, Pierre in Daughters with Daggers, a Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show, the Tinman in The Wizard of Oz, and Eddie Birdlace in Dogfight.
