I will be graduating from medical school in May 2025 and hold a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Spanish. My academic background has given me a deep understanding of the sciences, strong analytical skills, and fluency in Spanish, which I’m excited to share with students. Throughout college and medical school, I’ve worked as a tutor, mentor, and teaching assistant in a variety of subjects including biology, chemistry, neuroscience, Spanish, and writing. I’ve helped students ranging from elementary schoolers to college undergraduates, tailoring my teaching approach to suit each learner’s needs and goals.
One of my favorite roles was serving as president of my medical school’s tennis club, where I taught students of all levels how to play. While not academic, this experience sharpened my ability to break down complex movements into simple, teachable steps — a skill that directly translates to academic tutoring. Whether I’m helping a student grasp kinematics equations or practice Spanish conversation, I focus on creating a supportive, clear, and structured learning environment. I’ve also volunteered as a smoking cessation counselor and health educator, roles that required patience, empathy, and clear communication — all of which I bring to tutoring.
I believe that with the right guidance and mindset, every student can succeed. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities while mastering the material. I’m currently available for both short-term test prep and long-term academic support, and I look forward to helping you or your student reach their goals.
