Hello! I’m Abby, and I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math and reach their college admissions goals. I scored an 800 on the SAT Math section, a 760 on Reading, and a 34 on the ACT, so I know what it takes to perform at a high level on these tests. I graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a 4.0 in Integrative Neuroscience, earning both the President’s and Chancellor’s Awards, the two highest merit-based honors at my university.

During my time at Binghamton, I also served as a teaching assistant for two years, where I developed a deep understanding of how students learn and how to communicate complex concepts in ways that make sense. I also worked at a nationally recognized tutoring company, where I led operations and helped over 2,000 families navigate the SAT/ACT and college admissions process.

In my tutoring sessions, I use a systematic approach to ensure that students grasp both foundational math concepts and test strategies. We work through real test questions, learning from mistakes, and I encourage active teaching by having students complete similar problems to solidify their understanding. I believe that regular practice is key to improvement, so I make sure to assign homework tailored to each student’s needs and capacity, working with both the student and their parents to find the right balance.
