I'm Reid! I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2024 with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and am now an active high school teacher in the state of Massachusetts. In college, I was a tutor and manager with Student Disability Services on campus, and found a passion for education. While I may have found a new passion, my original love for STEM has always remained.
Through my experience, both as a tutor and in the classroom, I have found countless combinations of learning styles. I enjoy using active learning strategies, as well as including personal passions from outside the classroom in study techniques. While I have plenty of strategies up my sleeve to help students learn, I am excited and open to developing more through further interactions.
I enjoy creating a learning environment that is very friendly and welcoming. I taught myself how to enjoy learning, and I hope to use my personal experience to provide tips for others as well.
