Music has been a passion of mine since a young age. I have been playing piano for 15 years and it is something that brings me great joy. In the 6th grade, I was accepted into the Berklee City Music program, and got the opportunity to study with Berklee professors in theory, private piano, and jazz ensembles from 6th - 12th grade. Over the years I have taught friends here and there, and currently I have 2 students I am teaching more consistently, one piano student and one music theory student....

These lessons have been going really well, and it makes me very happy when I pass my enthusiasm on to them and they are excited by a theory concept.
-Took 15 years of piano lessons, beginning with classical (3 yrs), and then focusing on jazz and pop
-Received 5 on the AP music theory exam in high school (these concepts are taught in Tonal Harmony 1 and 2)
-Excelled in Theory 4 at Berklee City Music (covered content seen in Harmony 3 at Berklee)
-Throughout my studies, I've excelled at ear-training

If you are not in music school and would like to learn piano or music theory, we can apply the concepts we learn to songs and artists that interest you.
