Hello! I'm Elliott, I am currently a mechanical engineering masters student at BU and previously studied physics, and astronomy at Mount Holyoke College. During my college career I worked as a TA in both physics and astronomy courses, and continued my work as an educator post grad. Over the past two years I worked as a high school physics teacher, building a curriculum focused on hands on learning and connecting physics to the world we experience every day. I have a passion for making physics accessible for all students, and have experience in creating lessons to suit all needs.
Outside of physics, I also acted as a support for students in their math classes, specifically in precalculus, trigonometry, and algebra, working to provide remedial support for students falling behind in their courses.
I offer adaptive tutoring, working with students and families to find the strategies best suited to the individual, and value collaboration in the tutoring process. I love to involve demos and deep dives in my tutoring to improve student learning for varied learning styles. I am easy to reach, and responsive during the work week, feel free to contact me with any questions!
