I hold a Bachelor of Science in Premedical & Health Studies with minors in Public Health and Gerontology, and I am a nationally certified EMT with an active Massachusetts EMT license and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. I am also currently a paramedic student, further advancing my training in prehospital medicine and critical care. In addition to my clinical background, I served as a Teaching Assistant for an introductory psychology course during college, where I provided one-on-one academic support, facilitated review sessions, and helped students master complex concepts. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate material clearly and adapt my teaching approach to different learning styles and academic needs. I currently work as an EMT and Field Training Officer, where I am responsible for teaching, mentoring, and evaluating new EMTs during their onboarding and field training. My instructional experience includes one-on-one tutoring, small-group instruction, and real-time coaching in clinical and prehospital settings. I have worked with high school students, college students, and adult learners, particularly those preparing for the EMT and NREMT exams. My teaching style emphasizes practical understanding, clinical reasoning, and effective test-taking strategies while fostering a supportive and confidence-building learning environment. As a bilingual English-Spanish speaker, I also tutor Spanish with a focus on conversational fluency and medical Spanish for healthcare and EMS settings. I tailor each session to each student’s goals, whether they are learning Spanish for personal, academic, or professional purposes. My approach is patient-centered and structured, combining real-world examples with clear explanations to help students achieve meaningful and measurable progress
