I have a warm, compassionate style and my biggest priority is that my students feel supported and comfortable. I recognize that the process of learning is too often a very vulnerable and overwhelming experience for so many learners, so I prioritize creating a supportive environment where my students feel comfortable taking academic risks and develop confidence in their own strengths.
My areas of expertise include reading comprehension, writing, note-taking, study skills, and executive function support. I taught middle and high school English Language Arts, so that is a particular interest of mine, though I am also available to support study skills across other academic subjects.
