Bri was an amazing tutor who helped me understand Vertebrate Evolution on a deeper level. I struggled a lot with the class initially, but I ended up scoring an A on the final with her help! She would always start by asking questions to gauge my current knowledge, then adjust the session to focus on what I needed to focus on the most. She also provided extra resources, like her own notes, which were super helpful for studying. Bri also provided great study techniques that helped me to keep up with my fast-paced summer course. She provided me with thorough constructive feedback on my responses to my practice questions, which helped me to gain confidence for the exams. I would highly recommend her as a tutor for Evolutionary Biology.

My favorite tutor ever

I highly, highly recommend Bri as an AP Biology tutor! She has made what could be a complicated and overwhelming course feel accessible and even fun from the start! She has a gift for taking complicated concepts such as gene regulation, cellular respiration, and evolution and simplifying them in a way that makes sense to the student without ever dumbing anything down! What really makes Bri stand out as a tutor, however, is how kind and patient she is! She does not rush through anything and makes sure that I understand the concepts and principles behind what we are studying and how they work, rather than simply how to memorize the information for a test! Thanks to Bri's amazing help and expertise, I have gone from being a nervous wreck and unsure of myself in biology to really enjoying even the most challenging concepts and problems and even thinking like a scientist! If you are looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable, kind, and really cares about your success, then Bri is amazing!

Fantastic and Expert Tutor for AP Biology

My son was struggling with AP Biology as a Junior in High School. Although he did well in regular biology class as a freshman in high school, AP Biology was significantly more challenging as it covers massive volume of content, requiring intense study. We searched Wyzant for AP Bio tutors and did at least 3 try sessions with 3 different tutors, but my son was not convinced those tutors can help him effectively. Then we finally found Bri and after the first session, my son 100% convinced that she was the best tutor. As my son anticipated, Bri was not only the expert in Ap Biology but also an incredibly effective tutor, tailoring the teaching and the content best for my son's learning style. With Bri's effective tutoring, my son is now doing so much better in AP Biology and his confidence has significantly increased. Outstanding Biology Tutor Who Builds Understanding and Confidence

Bri has been teaching biology and biochemistry to my daughter, who is a freshman. Bri is a true teacher! Not only Bri has a good knowledge of the subject, but she knows how to explain and how to make the subject more interesting. She is very helpful in guiding you to prepare for test, gives you resources. I also noted how patient Bri is and if my daughter did not get the material after initial explanation, Bri would adjust and change the wording, give more examples until she makes sure my daughter understood the material.
