I hold both a BS and MS in Computer Science and have spent over 30 years designing, building, and leading complex software systems. While I currently serve as a Senior Director in technology, my passion has always been hands-on development, problem solving, and helping others truly understand how systems work. I was honored to receive the Women in Technology & Data Engineer/Programmer of the Year award in 2019, recognizing both technical excellence and impact.

My experience includes programming in Python, Java, and Perl, as well as designing and working with databases including Oracle, MongoDB, and SQL Server. Throughout my career, I have applied data structures, algorithms, and database principles in real production environments where performance, scalability, and reliability truly matter.
When I tutor, my goal is not simply to help you finish an assignment, but to help you understand how and why a solution works. I enjoy breaking down complex topics such as recursion, Big-O analysis, query optimization, and system design into clear, structured explanations. I have worked one-on-one with college students and understand the pressure that comes with challenging technical coursework.
My approach is analytical and patient — we will walk through problems step by step, explore trade-offs, and strengthen your ability to think independently. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving your programming skills, or trying to truly grasp foundational concepts, I aim to help you build confidence and long-term problem-solving ability.
