I believe in a positive, student-centered approach. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable and safe to make mistakes. I create a culture in our sessions where students feel comfortable trying new strategies when learning challenging concepts, knowing it's okay if they don't get the correct answer. I am here to support them where they are! All students have strengths and areas of growth. My job is to meet the student where they are to help fill in some of the gaps in their learning, as well as challenge them so that they don't lose the love of learning!
I have taught in Massachusetts and Florida. I have an active Florida teaching certificate. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. My Master's Degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Educational Technology. Please reach out to me if you have any questions!
