I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a master’s degree in Elementary Education, and I am a licensed teacher with over five years of classroom experience. I began my career teaching first grade in a public school setting, where I built a strong foundation in early literacy, math instruction, and differentiated learning. I currently teach in a private school setting, working with students with severe disabilities, and I am actively working toward obtaining my license in Special Education. This experience has strengthened my ability to adapt instruction to meet a wide range of learning needs.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students across general education and special education settings, from early elementary through more intensive support needs. I have also provided tutoring over the years, both in structured and more informal settings. My approach is patient, supportive, and individualized. I focus on meeting students where they are, breaking down concepts into manageable steps, and building both skills and confidence over time.
I believe that strong relationships and consistency are key to helping students succeed. Whether a student needs extra support in foundational skills, help staying on track, or a confidence boost in their learning, I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
