Hey folks! My name is Chris. I am a current PhD candidate at Tufts University in the Boston area, where I study electrical engineering and materials science (superconductive-group IV materials synthesized with molecular beam epitaxy, for my fellow nerds).

I have tutored an array of topics in the realm of mathematics, engineering, and physics over the years, from elementary to college. I strive to take a "fun, whimsical" approach to teaching without sacrificing academic rigor- I have seen firsthand many students become discouraged and feel like they just "aren't good at math and science". I do not believe this to be true, and strive my hardest to tailor my teaching to my students' needs- whether that be pre-created lecture slides, working through exercises together, or focusing on intuition and comprehension.

I have also helped write and teach numerous courses. I have won awards at Tufts for my work teaching "Patents of the Future", an introductory engineering course at Tufts, where I planned many of the course assignments and spent one-on-one time with each student to ensure they could design real engineering projects. Nowadays, my courses are more on the theoretical and graduate level, but during 2020 to 2021 I tutored many students of various ages.

I would love to discuss more about how I can help meet your academic goals- feel free to reach out and we can set up a free call!
