My name is Samantha, have am a certified high school chemistry teacher and have over 8 years of classroom experience working with students of varying ages, levels, and needs. I have taught students who have gone on to major in chemistry and are pursuing careers in chemistry and related fields, and I have taught several students who struggle with chemistry, but with guidance and hard work have found success in the course.

I have a B.S. in Chemistry from Bridgewater State University, where my concentration was Biochemistry with a minor in Biology. I also took graduate level Chemistry classes at Syracuse University where I was a General Chemistry Teaching Assistant.

I have a passion for learning and teaching. I love when a student can walk away with an understanding of something new. I try to present material in different ways and try to provide fun, personalized examples and analogies whenever possible to help the student better learn the subject and to have fun while learning.
