I am a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Psychology at UMass Amherst. I serve as a Teaching Assistant for three courses (research methods in psychology, intro to neuroscience, introductory biology). I've been officially teaching for three years, although I've been editing essays and providing math help to peers since high school. While I am most passionate about Psychology, English, and Literature, I bring a creative and adaptive teaching style to all subjects, and I believe that any student can master any material if it's explained in a way that clicks with them. I strive to provide my students with memorable lessons that make sense for their singular minds!
I am a native English and Chinese speaker. I'm a writer, a digital artist, and a classical pianist. I also play flute (eight years of marching band!), ice skate, and lead a D&D group. Somewhat more casually, I like to code text games, read (usually fantasy, sci-fi, and classics), and hang out with my cat!
