Hello! My name is Anthony L., and I bring over a decade of experience as a math tutor and AP Calculus teacher dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. I hold an MBA in Engineering, an MBA, and am pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Technology, which I anticipate completing by August 2025. My passion for teaching mathematics has led me to specialize in tutoring high school and college students in various subjects, including Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, SAT/ACT Math, and AP Calculus AB/BC.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of tutoring students from diverse backgrounds. My teaching experience includes one-on-one sessions, small group settings, and classroom instruction. I tailor my approach to each student’s learning style, emphasizing clarity, patience, and engagement. I believe in teaching multiple problem-solving strategies to help students fully understand concepts. My motto, “fewer steps, fewer mistakes,” reflects my goal of simplifying math while fostering precision and confidence.

I’ve worked with students ranging from high schoolers aiming to improve their grades to those preparing for standardized tests like the SAT and ACT, as well as advanced learners tackling AP Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus AB/BC. I have extensive experience working with multilingual learners, particularly Mandarin speakers, to help them overcome language barriers while excelling in math.
