Hi! My name is Heather :) I’m so glad you’re here! I’m an experienced educator with a deep passion for helping young learners thrive and discover the joy of learning. I hold a Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Literacy, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of teaching and supporting students in a variety of settings. I’ve served as a lead teacher for Grade 3 in Morocco and Grade 1 in Cyprus, and I’ve also gained hands-on experience tutoring and student teaching across grades K-5. Each of these opportunities has shaped the way I approach teaching; seeing every child as capable, unique, and deserving of a learning experience that builds both skills and confidence.
Along with my classroom experience, I hold teacher licenses in Elementary Education (K-5) and have previously held licenses in Special Education and as a Reading Specialist. This background allows me to support students with a wide range of learning needs and styles. My teaching blends warmth, creativity, and strong instructional strategies to ensure that every student feels encouraged and challenged at the same time. Most of all, I believe learning should be engaging, supportive, and fun, and I look forward to partnering with students (and their families!) to help them grow, succeed, and enjoy the journey along the way.
