Since receiving my masters in Education from UMass 5 years ago I have spent 2 years running a math tutorial lab in the Springfield Public Schools and 3 years as a classroom math teacher for 6th graders. While I love teaching core instruction my work with the tutorial lab showed me the importance of one-on-one tutoring and the successful nature of intimate tutoring environments.
