Great Spanish Tutor
I continue to improve at great speeds learning Spanish with Isaac! He is patient and detail oriented which facilitates a deep understanding of the language. He is extremely receptive to questions and won’t stop until you completely understand.

Helped me get medical residency interviews!
I am a fourth-year medical student who has greatly benefited from lessons with Isaac. I first came to him for personal statement editing for medical residency. Thanks to him, I have gotten 4 interviews so far at my top residency programs. Although I have finished applying for medical residency, I have just started doing Spanish lessons with Isaac. The language and writing skills from personal statement writing completely correlated with his Spanish lessons. Even though I just started, I feel so motivated. He is very encouraging and teaches in a way that is detailed and feasible to follow. Finally, he is very patient and encouraging; my confidence has grown working with him. I am going to continue my lessons with him as I can see that he is essential to my growth in Spanish and as a person. He has my highest recommendations!

Excellent, Patient and Knowledgeable Teacher
Isaac Y was incredibly clear and direct in our work together in Spanish. I appreciated the way in which he began our session by reviewing my expectations and wishes for how to most effectively work with the material at hand, and his clarity and intuitive approach to working with me gave me a lot of confidence. He was skilled at structuring our work so that we could maximize the lesson time and I felt very productive when reviewing the outcome of our first lesson. His warmth and encouragement put me at ease, and his confidence in my ability to build on my skills in Spanish as we worked together inspired me to work harder. He is a wonderful teacher and I look forward to continuing to work with Isaac Y. as I made such great progress in our first session together.
