If you're looking for help in AP calculus (college Calc I or II), algebra 1, algebra 2, precalculus, or trigonometry, look no further. I have been teaching and tutoring for 25 years. I am certified to teach mathematics for grades 5 - 12. I have been teaching AP Calculus (both AB and BC) for 10+ years. I truly love math and making a difference. I know the math doesn't come easy to everyone, but I would like to be able to make math easier for you.

During our time together, we can go through problems you need to do for class, I can provide you with additional problems, can teach missed material, can pre-teach material that is to come, view for quizzes/tests, or any combination of the above.

I consider myself to be very good at what I do as I have the innate ability to understand why students struggle in different topics. I am not afraid to use out-of-the-box methods to get students to understand topics.

I have an undergraduate degree in mathematics education, a Master's degree in secondary education, and a second master's in secondary education.

In addition to teaching AP Calculus BC this year, I also teach dual enrollment honors calculus (in conjunction with a local college) and honors algebra 1.

I have been teaching AP calculus AB and BC for the past 10 years with over 95% of my students receiving a 4 or 5 on the BC calculus exam. I have attended numerous workshops put on by the college board to continuously improve my knowledge of the AP curriculum. I have been an AP reader since 2019.

Deep Knowledge and Caring Tutor

Erica is proactive in her approach to understand any knowledge or skill gaps and then she zeros in on closing those gaps with her student. Erica helped my son with AP Calculus and he is definitely in a much better place because of her support. Erica is an excellent tutor.

Good tutor and flexible!

She was flexible last minute. I don’t know results yet.. so I rate 4…not knowing results yet. it was prep for final exam Calc ab… but my son felt more comfortable going into exam. She was flex with our west coast schedule. And squeezed us in before final exam. We had 2 sessions. Thank you Erica.
