I am a full-time academic tutor and Co-Active Life Coach. I currently work with students of all ages and offer a uniquely designed program for college students. In addition to working on organizational and study strategies, I help students with a variety of subjects and topics.
I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University, majoring in American Studies and Environmental Studies. I am also a certified Co-Active Life Coach through the Coaches Training Institute. This training provides me with invaluable, unique tools to help students learn and thrive both academically and personally. I bring a depth and breadth of experience to my one-on-one sessions with students, having worked as a tutor and academic coach for nearly a decade. In addition to this, I taught middle school English and history for three years. I believe in using humor and honesty in all of my sessions. Above all else is my extensive experience building successful, effective, and empowering tutoring relationships where students gain confidence as they meet their goals and integrate life-long skills for satisfaction and fulfillment in their lives.
My coaching approach works because it is custom-designed for each individual. Students gain confidence in their ability to take on new challenges while discovering how they learn best. My goal is to empower each student as they acquire new skills and techniques for taking charge of academic demands and their lives in general.
