Hello! My name is Nina and I am a recent summa cum laude graduate of Tufts University where I earned my degree in Clinical Psychology on the pre-medical track. I have a strong academic foundation in biology, chemistry, English, reading, and writing, supported by extensive experience in both the natural sciences and writing-intensive social sciences.
Currently, I work full-time as a research assistant in the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, and I’m also studying for the MCAT, so my skills in the sciences are sharp and actively maintained. I will bring this up-to-date knowledge to every tutoring session, whether it’s helping a student prepare for a chemistry exam, understand the cell cycle, or gain confidence in writing essays across all subjects.
I also have a passion for working with learners of all ages. I’ve spent years working with children and currently care for a 3-year-old as a regular babysitter, where I incorporate learning-rich play to promote cognitive and language development. This experience has shaped my ability to engage younger students and make learning fun and accessible.
I look forward to hearing from you and am eager to support you/your child's learning with personalized, thoughtful guidance tailored to your goals and needs!
