In Calculus, I help students understand derivatives and integrals by showing them how they can be used to calculate area and volume. In Physics, I teach Newtonian mechanics topics like the coefficient of friction by explaining why the speed limit at a ramp is 25 mph—because it prevents you from sliding in bad weather.
