This review is long overdue- Sofia has been an amazing tutor for me for years! She helped me finish up high school with AP Calculus 1 and AP Physics C (Mech & E&M), and is helping me again in university, this time in honor-level classes. She's fantastic at re-explaining things schools assume students already know and can lay out the "how"'s and "why"'s behind concepts, helping your understanding as a student develop beyond just rote memorization. Ex, most students will encounter concepts like the unit circle in their math classes. Schools expect students to remember the associated values and leave it at that. Sofia explained how to build a unit circle from scratch and what it means, and that deeper understanding has helped me time and time again, whether it comes into play with basic trigonometry or later on in calculus 3 and beyond. If you're interested in developing your understanding across several math/science classes for years to come, I can't recommend Sofia enough.

I took college calculus in the fall (without Sofia's help) and I struggled with the class. I ended with a B. In the Spring I took Calculus 2 and worked with Sofia for the semester. I ended with an A in the class. I cant recommend her enough. She is amazing!
