SAT Math

I am an anesthesiology resident and Boston University biomedical engineering graduate who scored a 790 on SAT Math. My goal is to help students make SAT Math feel easier by recognizing question patterns, using efficient shortcuts, and avoiding unnecessary brute-force calculations. I focus on teaching multiple ways to solve each problem so students can adapt quickly no matter how a question appears on test day. My approach emphasizes speed, accuracy, and confidence under time pressure.

USMLE

I am a medical student and incoming anesthesiology resident who scored in the 270s on USMLE Step 2, with a strong foundation across internal medicine, surgery, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and family medicine. I have ongoing experience tutoring medical students weekly for shelf and clerkship exams, focusing on both content mastery and exam strategy. My teaching emphasizes how to approach UWorld and NBME-style questions from the test writer’s perspective, helping students develop pattern recognition and avoid common traps. As a Boston University medical student and incoming anesthesiology resident, I have firsthand experience with competitive admissions processes and understand how to effectively communicate accomplishments, experiences, and personal stories. My guidance includes application strategy, activities and experiences sections, personal statements, secondary essays, interview preparation, and overall applicant positioning. I have experience mentoring students from a variety of academic backgrounds, including engineering, pre-medical, and healthcare-related fields.
