Students and Goals
I work with students—including neurodiverse learners—who have varied mathematical abilities and learning styles. I tailor instruction to help each student achieve goals such as:
· Keeping up with weekly coursework and homework
· Preparing for school and standardized exams
· Getting ready for accelerated courses
· Reviewing for career-related licensing exams

My Teaching Approach
A key factor in my students’ success is my ability to quickly understand how they learn and engage them effectively. From the first session, I create a comfortable, supportive environment. I also ask frequent, appropriately challenging questions that help students experience early success, build confidence, and develop trust in the learning process.

Working Together
Mathematics and teaching have always been passions of mine. By working together, you can strengthen your math skills and improve your quantitative reasoning. Also, The “Wyzant Good Fit Guarantee” gives you an opportunity to determine whether the student and tutor are a good fit.

Peter helped raise my daughter's grade and understanding!

Peter started tutoring my daughter in the second semester of Calculus. She was not doing well and very frustrated in the class. But after Peter started working with my daughter once a week, she began to understand the material better and feel more confident in the class. He was patient and thorough in his explanation of the problems. The final quarter she ended with an A+, which brought her up to a solid B for the class. I am very thankful for Peter's tutoring service to us.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

He has helped me so much in solidifying the concepts I learn in school. By showing me different way to think about problems, he not only improves my understanding of the concept but also improves my ability to think about problems logically, without needing to memorize formulas or steps.

Very knowledgeable and patient

When I first started taking lessons from peter, I didn’t know what to expect, but then he took his time to make sure I understood my homework that I needed help with. Peter is very patient and when he teaches and explains, he makes sure you understands it. He knows exactly what he is doing, that’s why I am coming back to him for my next class. Thank you Peter.
