Hello, new students! My name is David! I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Boston with a degree in Classical Languages. While working through my undergraduate, I would serve as a tutor for the students in the intro classes. Now, as a teacher, I also provide tutoring in the form of extra help.
I love to share my knowledge with others. I think that we can have a great time learning the language together. I find that every time I teach an aspect of Latin, I gain a deeper understanding of it myself. I bring a very patient approach. I am willing to help you learn the language from scratch or to help you pass a class.
I am qualified to tutor you in Latin because I have been studying Latin since 2004. At this point, I have a very strong understanding of Latin. In addition to 18 years of study, I have been speaking Latin in small groups for the past six to seven years. In that same timeframe, I have become, as I stated, a Latin teacher. I have been teaching 9th grade Latin for the past three years. I know how to adapt the information to reach any kind of student.
I want to help you succeed in Latin as much as possible. I will work as hard as you and more to help you. I am highly adaptable to whatever course you may be in, whether it is Wheelocks, Cambridge Latin, or Lingua Latina. Feel free to reach out!
