I have been teaching piano lessons for four years. Most of my students are in either elementary or middle school, but I enjoy teaching all ages.
I love music, and I value sharing it with others whether I am teaching or performing. My favorite thing about teaching is the ability to watch students grow and learn. Music is an important part of our education, and I feel honored to provide instruction in it to others.

I started taking piano lessons from a young age, and when I was 11 years old, I began to study at the Searcy Community School of Music with Dr. Scott Carrell. I studied under Dr. Carrell to the end of high school, and throughout that time, I had many opportunities to work with other well-known pianists. I have taken lessons or participated in masterclasses with pianists such as: Dr. Clara Christian, Dr. Naoki Hakutani, Dr. Gustavo Peterlevitz, Daisy Jaffe, and pianist for the Eroica piano trio Erika Nickrenz.
I had the privilege to study conducting with Geoffrey Robson, and led the Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra in concert and in the studio. I also am the founding music director of the Cabot Community Orchestra.
In addition to playing the piano and conducting, I also enjoy composing. My first composition was titled El Morro Castle, and was premiered in 2017 with the ASU Beebe symphonic band. A piece for piano and flute titled Through Night Trees was premiered for the Music Teachers Association of Central Arkansas and was also performed for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Guild. Reminiscence, a solo piano piece, was a national finalist in the 2019 MTNA Composition Competition.
I am currently studying with Lithuanian pianist Andrius Zlabys at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions! I still have free time slots available, and I would love to get to know you better!
