Hi there!
My name is Sabrina but I go by my nickname Sarah. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program in Child Study and Human Development. I am a Cornell University graduate and during my time in Cornell I was able to double major in biology and psychology. I really enjoyed my time in college and found the classes to be very interesting. The different professors, hands on projects, discussion sessions, and labs were all opportunities to not only learn but understand different teaching styles. Many of the teaching assistants (who I especially enjoyed asking questions) taught through metaphor and using common objects to explain microscopic processes. During my time at Cornell, I was a mentor to many high school students and would often advise them about applications and just the college application process. Getting into college is difficult and many times , it is not always clear what the process entails.
In addition, during high school, I tutored many young elementary school students on their writing and science needs. I have some experience tutoring students on high school biology, especially during the Biology regents time. I know I needed some help with certain subjects in high school and I would like students to achieve their best selves.
